Last week I went to this illustration workshop organized by Ilustrarte in Valladolid. I joined the workshop given by Emilio Urberuaga. The other one was by Svjetlan Junakovic. Great professionals and great persons, always ready to share ideas, knowledge and experiences with us.
Thank so much to Rafa Vivas and Nati Rodriguez for the awsome organisation and their kindness and care.
The best of all was to share 15 hours non stop, 5 days, with other colleagues from all over Spain. I hope we can see each other again!

P.S. As you can see, I have started writing the blog in spanish as well as english. Some of my colleagues have some problems with english and even when I don't write very much I will do it in spanish too.
And this is a good time to explain that I'm a spanish illustrator, my father is spanish, I speak spanish and I dream in spanish (most of the time).
And I'm german too, because I was born in Germany, my mother is german, I have family in Germany and I spent sometime there. Please, don't let yourself get confused by my name, Natascha!

Well, it's officially summer here at home! Miguel started our cocktail season!
And there is my handsome merman!
You can preorder now the new book by Posie gets cozy.
I was invited by Nicole to participate in the project e-coloriage with other talented french illustrators. All the subjects are about safeguarding our planet.
It will be a book for colouring, but in the meantime you can print the illustrations and give them to your kids, so they can colour them.
You can join the Fan-club and post the images on Flickr to share the results.
Have fun!

Two great books to share with you:
"La visite de la petite mort" by Kitty Crowther and " Au pays des tatous affamées"(The land of the hungry armadillos) by Lawrence David and Frédérique Bertrand.
The first one is a story about the little lady of death and loneliness.
The other one is about a brother and sister, selfishness and love.
I highly recommend yoy both of them.
